The purpose of Ijtema Chanda is to fund the cost of the National Ijtema, our annual flagship event, which is held near Hadeeqatul Mahdi in Alton.
Over the last many years, the cost of the National Ijtema has increased and has been funded through Khuddam Chanda. Therefore, to keep the Majlis in a long-term sustainable financial position, it was proposed that prescribed rates of Ijtema Chanda should be increased from 0.25% to 0.5% of net income of earning members.
The proposal was approved by Majlis-e-Shura and finally approved by our Beloved Huzoor (aba).
